Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 25, 2026 · Last updated: September 25, 2026
Ziginity ("we", "us") develops the game Chess Bang and this website. This policy explains what information is handled when you play the game, and by which services. Questions? Contact ziginity@gmail.com.
This website
This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no requests to third parties. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operations.
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- No contacts, photos, files or precise location.
- Game progress, stars, settings and your purchase state are stored on your device. We do not operate servers that receive them.
Information handled by our service providers
Purchases — Apple and Google
In-app purchases are processed by the app store you installed the game from. We never receive or store your card or billing details.
Purchases and entitlements — RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and to restore what you have bought after reinstalling. RevenueCat processes purchase history and transaction information, an anonymous app user ID generated by the game, and basic device and platform information. This is used for app functionality (delivering and restoring your content) and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Advertising — Google AdMob (in versions that display ads)
Some versions of the game display ads. Where ads are enabled, our ad provider may process a mobile advertising identifier or device identifier, your IP address (which can indicate an approximate, not precise, location), and information about how you interact with ads. This is used to serve and measure advertising and to prevent fraud.
We request non-personalized ads by default. Personalized ads are used only where you give consent through the in-app consent form, and, on iOS, only if you allow tracking at the system prompt (App Tracking Transparency). You can change or withdraw consent at any time in the app where those controls are available, and through your device's advertising settings. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from ads.
How information is used
- To run the game and deliver what you purchase, including hints and restoring purchases.
- To display ads in versions that contain ads.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers named above as needed to run the game, or where required by law.
Data retention
Apple, Google and RevenueCat retain data according to their own policies. Game data stored on your device remains until you clear it or uninstall the game.
Children's privacy
The game is rated 4+ but is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will act to remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can control ad tracking through your device settings (for example, "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS, or the advertising settings on Android) and, where available, through the in-app consent form. To make a request, contact ziginity@gmail.com.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
